Dayanand Education Society was established in 1961 to impart higher education in arts, commerce, science, law and pharmacy to the students of this rural area. This institution has consistently produced State level toppers in the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (10+2) of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune and in the Common Entrance Test for four-year Bachelor's degree courses in Medical and Engineering fields.
